This is a beginner workshop for all new dogs and handlers. We will walk you through understanding the sport of hunting for rats, introduction of the rat to your dogs, and cover other important elements of successful hunting. Your dog will be introduced to one of our many rats, discuss the different organizations of hunting, and the different levels of classes. Your dog will also get to climb on the straw, practice the tunnel exercise, along with finding the rat.

• Limit one dog per handler.

• Space is limited, registration is required.

Please bring your dog on a 6 ft. leash (no retractable leashes). Bring water and something to keep your dogs calm and quiet during the instructors discussion times. Disruptive dogs may be asked to wait in the car during these times.
